Vande Velde Awarded Prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal for outstanding contributions to ALS

Packard Center Scientific Director Christine Vande Velde, PhD, was recently recognized as one of 39 individuals from the Canadian ALS community to receive the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal for their outstanding contributions toward a world free of ALS.

Established in May 2023 to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, administered by the Chancellery of Honours at Rideau Hall, the Medal recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to Canada, their province or territory, region, or an achievement abroad that brings benefit or honor to the country.
