Understanding Genetic and Epigenetic Causes of ALS via Outlier Analysis with Deep Learning
ALS is a complex disease – most patients do not present with well-known mutations. What makes every ALS patient unique? This project seeks to answer this question by developing novel deep learning-based outlier analysis methods to discover aberrant genes unique to each patient, leveraging the Answer ALS multiomics datasets.
