Making the Impossible Dream Possible: An Evening of Music and Conversation
To kick off the I AM ALS Community Summit, the Packard Center recently participated in Making the Impossible Dream Possible: An Evening of Music and Conversation at the offices of Forbes Tate Partners in Washington, DC. The event, co-hosted by I AM ALS and Hop on a Cure, featured remarks from I AM ALS founder Brian Wallach and his wife Sandra Abreva, a science update from Packard Center founder and executive director Dr. Jeffrey Rothstein, and musical selections from Aaron Lazar, John Driskoll Hopkins, and his band.
Preceding the event was a screening of the new documentary For Love & Life: No Ordinary Campaign. The film, now available on Amazon Prime, follows Brian Wallach and his wife after his ALS diagnosis at age 37. The film highlights their journey to help change the healthcare system for patients of neurodegenerative diseases.
