Ignite: The Spark When Science, Creativity, and Technology Converge
The Packard Center was pleased to support Ignite: The Spark When Science, Creativity, and Technology Converge. The event, hosted by Answer ALS, was held at Union Station in Washington, DC, and explored how emerging technologies are supporting disease discovery.
Guests heard from remarkable speakers, including Steve Gleason, who read an excerpt from his new book “A Life Impossible.” In addition, Packard Center founder and executive director Dr. Jeffrey Rothstein, Dr. Emily Baxi of the Milken Institute (formerly with the Packard Center), and Packard Center Board of Governors member Milan Karol (Carnegie Institute) participated in a panel discussion and shared their thoughts on the inflection point where disease discovery is being supported by innovation.
The event was attended by numerous members from the Packard Center team as well as representatives from the Board of Governors.
