Hop On A Cure Awards $100,000 Grant to Packard Center
In February 2024, Hop On A Cure awarded $100,000 to the Packard Center to help further its research mission. Hop On A Cure’s mission is to support research to prevent, reverse, and cure ALS while raising awareness, building a compassionate community, and unleashing the healing power of hope.
John Driskell Hopkins, also known as “Hop”, is a founding member, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist of the Grammy award-winning Zac Brown Band. In December 2021, Hop was diagnosed with ALS. Hop on a Cure, founded by John Driskoll Hopkins and his wife Jennifer, was created to help countless others, like themselves, who have been unwillingly thrown into this cruel and unfair fight.
